For "farangs" or foreigners, it may just be a bit too spicy and too potent in flavor, because the secret ingredient used in making this dish is "padek" or fermented fish. For me, I was in papaya heaven....

THanks for sharing some of your experiences with us. I really enjoy seeing the pictures. I wish you would post more, please. Thats ok if you can't. The papaya gave me watery mouth. Yummy. did you eat tum som there and did you get sick at all?
