Like every other 7 year olds Lela loves playing sports, but like her mom, she loves eating even more so, especially Krispy Kreme donuts after a hard game of soccer. As of date, Lela has played softball, basketball, football, golf, and soccer. Surprisingly enough, her favorite sport happens to be football where she was the only girl on the team, and she even scored a touchdown in the drizzling rain. She was on a softball team where none of her good friends were on the team with her, and yet she did not back out. Instead, she said to me, "Mommy, I play sports not to be with my friends." Ouch! I had to be told by my little girl that sports should not be a social thing like the way I would only play sports.
